As a responsible company, we not only focus on product development but also on improving the knowledge of the local farmers about the great opportunities with organic farming. Hence, we organized open forums with farmer associations in different parts of the country. The objective of the farmer meeting was to give exposure to farmers on various agricultural strategies that can be employed with organic farming and also create a stage to share their personal experiences.

We were able to hold a successful farmer meeting in the Kilinochchi district. This was organized with the participants of agricultural officials and members of the government administrative service of the region. Organizing such an event allowed us to understand the farmer’s needs, and challenges. Also, this created an opportunity for us to propose solutions to their concerns.
