Paddy Research

We are also proud to announce that our ECO VITA P formulation has received official approval from the Rice Research and Development Institute, Bathalegoda, along with the Murunkan and Bombuwala Research Stations, for its proven ability to enable a 30% reduction in chemical fertilizer usage when applied at a rate of 7 liters per hectare.

This significant achievement is the result of a series of rigorous field trials conducted under the supervision of the Department of Agriculture. The studies evaluated the agronomic performance of ECO VITA P across multiple paddy-growing regions with diverse soil and climatic conditions. The results demonstrated that ECO VITA P not only supports healthy plant growth and high yields comparable to conventional fertilizer programs but also enhances soil microbial activity and nutrient availability over time.

The research further confirmed that integrating ECO VITA P into standard fertilizer practices allows farmers to achieve optimal productivity with reduced dependency on synthetic inputs. This outcome directly supports national efforts to promote sustainable paddy cultivation, reduce environmental pollution, and enhance soil health for long-term agricultural resilience. For Kangara Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, this approval marks a major milestone in our journey toward delivering scientifically validated, environmentally responsible plant nutrition solutions. It reinforces our strong commitment to innovation, farmer welfare, and the country’s goal of transforming Sri Lanka’s agriculture into a more sustainable and eco-friendly system.
