At Kangara Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, we are continuously expanding our research portfolio to evaluate the performance of our innovative fertilizer formulations across different crop sectors. One of our major ongoing studies focuses on the ECO VITA V liquid fertilizer, developed specifically for vegetable cultivation.
This comprehensive research programme is being conducted in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture at the Gannoruwa, Seetha Eliya, and Makandura Research Centres. The main objective of this study is to scientifically evaluate the growth performance, nutrient uptake efficiency, yield potential, and soil health improvements associated with ECO VITA V application under varying agro-climatic conditions.
The trials cover a wide range of vegetable crops representing both upcountry and low-country regions. Researchers are assessing crop response in terms of vegetative growth, flowering, fruit set, and final yield, as well as long-term effects on soil microbial activity and fertility. The results of this study will provide valuable data to confirm the product’s effectiveness and its potential to reduce dependency on chemical fertilizers while maintaining or improving crop productivity.
Through this research, Kangara Holdings aims to strengthen the scientific foundation of the ECO VITA product range and reaffirm our commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible agriculture that benefits both farmers and the national food production system.
