Fruit Research

One of our major ongoing research studies is being conducted in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture at the Fruit Research and Development Institute, Horana, as well as at the Gannoruwa and Bibila Research Centres. These trials are focused on evaluating the effectiveness and performance of the ECO VITA liquid fertilizer range on different fruit crops cultivated under diverse agro-climatic conditions across Sri Lanka.

The primary objectives of this research are to assess the impact of ECO VITA formulations on plant growth, flowering, fruit development, yield performance, and overall soil health.

Through these multi-location trials, researchers are examining how ECO VITA enhances nutrient absorption efficiency, supports balanced plant nutrition, and stimulates beneficial soil microbial activity. The findings are expected to provide valuable scientific evidence demonstrating how ECO VITA can reduce the dependency on conventional chemical fertilizers while maintaining or improving yield quality and quantity.

This research initiative reflects Kangara Holdings (Pvt) Ltd’s commitment to advancing sustainable fruit cultivation practices in Sri Lanka.
