Farmers keep everyone fed and watered, playing a vital role in the economy. Organizing meetings with farmers help the flow of communication, makes a farm operation proactive and creates responsibility and accountability in the operation.

As a responsible company, we are always there when difficulties exist. We understand that it is essential to focus on maintaining open communication within the farm operation. On  the journey around the country, we were able to hold another series of farmer association meetings at Rathnapura.

Having these meetings allowed us to understand the farmer’s needs, and challenges. We had awareness programs about the organic farming systems for farmers as they have been used for

chemical fertilizer over decades. Hence, these meetings created an opportunity to build a praising image of organic farming and to reduce their confusion about fertilizer transition.
